Teen Gaming & Children’s Magic Show
Saturday brings two fun events at the Blount County Public Library, Gaming for Teens (as well as the weekly chess club) and a Magic Show for children of all ages.
Gaming for Teens includes games of all kinds: board games, MarioKart, Smash Bros., Yu-Gi-Oh! Or you are welcome to bring your own games. The gaming will continue from 2 to 4 p.m. in the Dorothy Herron Room A. Of course, Tom Jobe will also be coaching chess at the library on Saturday, too, from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. in the Teen Central area of the library.
Is It Magic or Science? will be presented by Phil Young in the Sharon Lawson Room of the library at 11 a.m., on Saturday, July 12. This program is appropriate for children of all ages.
Free and open to the public, the programs are sponsored by the Blount County Public Library, located at 508 N. Cusick Street, Maryville.
