DMA Partnership Highlights
The DMA is proud to partner with Keep Blount Beautiful on the Glass Waste Diversion Program! Funded by the Arconic Foundation, the Glass Waste Diversion Program will make better use of glass waste from local restaurants and bars that would normally end up in the landfill. Through this program, Keep Blount Beautiful will provide the missing link between participating restaurants and the Blount County Recycling Center where glass is pulverized and used in local projects.
Maryville is fortunate in that its downtown district lies directly adjacent to Maryville College, a nationally-ranked institution of higher learning and one of America’s oldest colleges. As such, the DMA is able to partner with the College on a number of different initiatives across departments and for the benefit of faculty, staff, students, prospective students and alumni. Here are some of our most recent projects:
